Morata continues to hammer in goals

Averaging a goal every 104 minutes, Alvaro Morata is making the most of the playing time he gets, and is in fact the best out of the entire Real Madrid squad in terms of his goalscoring ratio per minutes played.

None of the members of BBC have a better record than the ex-Juventus man, his latest strike silencing the Stadio San Paolo.

Cristiano Ronaldo comes closest with a goal every 114 minutes, whereas Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale average one every 149 and 174 minutes respectively.

With 13 goals this season, Morata trails Benzema by just two, despite playing almost 1,000 fewer minutes than the Frenchman.

In Champions League, the Spaniard's numbers are even more impressive with a goal every 54 minutes.

He has found the back of the net three times in Europe's elite competition this season - Sporting CP, Legia Warsaw and now Napoli - while doing so in just 162 minutes on the pitch.

Amongst Barcelona's MSN trio, only Lionel Messi has a better ratio than Morata, with one goal every 84 minutes.
